Volume utilization factor of cold storage:

 

 

 

500-1000 cubic meters = 0.40,1001-2000 cubic meters = 0.50

 

 

 

2001-10000 cubic meters = 0.55,10001-15000 cubic meters = 0.60

 

 

 

 

(2) Unit weight of food in combined cold storage:

 

 

 

Frozen meat = 0.40 tons/cubic metre

 

 

 

Frozen fish = 0.47 tons/cubic meter

 

 

 

Fresh fruits and vegetables = 0.23 tons/cubic meter

 

 

 

Mechanized ice = 0.75 tons/cubic meter

 

 

 

Frozen sheep chamber = 0.25 tons/cubic meter

 

 

 

Boneless meat or by-product = 0.60 tons/cubic metre

(3) Calculating method of storage capacity of combined cold storage:

 

 

 

(a) In the warehousing industry, the formula for calculating the maximum storage capacity is: effective content volume (m3) = total content volume (m3) *0.9.

 

 

 

B) Maximum storage capacity (ton) = total content volume (m3) / 2.5m3

 

 

 

C) Maximum actual storage capacity of combined cold storage

 

 

 

Effective Content Volume (m3) = Total Content Volume (m3) *0.9

 

 

 

Maximum storage capacity (ton) = total content area (m3) * (0.4-0.6) / 2.5m3

D) Actual daily storage

 

In the absence of special designated occasions, the actual daily storage capacity is calculated according to 15%-30% of the maximum storage capacity (ton) (generally less than 100 cubic meters are calculated by 30% and more than 1000 cubic meters are calculated by 15%.
